The Popular Show Campaign 4 Introduces the Soldiers Party

Ever since the premiere of the fourth campaign, recently appointed game master Brennan Lee Mulligan has maintained audience suspense with rich lore, a diverse cast of characters, and a exciting storyline showcasing angels, demons, and malevolent powers increasing in power within the urban setting.

Warning: Key plot points for the third episode of the new season lie ahead.

The Soldiers Table Introduced

The latest chapter finished on a dramatic pause and presented the premier party of adventurers who will split off from the central cast to undertake their own adventure, apart from the additional parties.

The combat-focused team includes the determined fighter (played by the voice actor), Thimble (Laura), the strong-willed figure (the cast member), the cleric (Sam), and Kattigan Vale (the actor).

Dividing the Cast

Given a large ensemble, it was clear from the start that keeping everyone at the same party would be unfeasible.

This explains, the initial installments of the new season serve as an Prelude, intertwining the characters’ stories before branching into three distinct groups: Soldiers, Strategists, and Questers.

The Nature of the Warrior Group

As described by Brennan Lee Mulligan, the Soldiers table is for adventurers who prefer a typically action-packed fight-heavy gameplay experience where non-violent answers are few and far between.

Upon first impression, figures such as the hesitant healer Wicander might look mismatched, but the developments of the third episode show why these five characters are perfectly fit for the combat party.

Motivations for Departure

First, the group understands precisely where to head next after a violent first encounter with the enemy group.

An old friend of the deceased character—whose death kicked off the campaign’s events—manipulated the foes for his personal gain, invading the hidden lair, attacking Thimble, and stealing all the powerful objects to auction.

The antagonist then settled his debts and ran away to a fortified location in the northern region, above the urban center, with Teor’s brother close behind.

Individual Reasons

Moreover, each member has a personal reason to exit Dol-Makjar:

  • The rogue, as the close ally and trusted friend, wants revenge.
  • The adventurer is familiar with Timmony and advises that it is a nasty place.
  • The warrior and The cleric, having resisted his relatives’ demands to kill Teor and instead saved him, have no safe haven.
  • Yet, their position as prominent individuals in House Halovar could help the team access areas they usually can’t.
  • Furthermore, The grateful character swore a eternal obligation to The savior for his deliverance and will now follow him anywhere.

Fugitives

Lastly, all of them are hunted by the powers that govern the setting for a multiple motives, making remaining behind no longer safe:

  • Thimble and The character are notorious outlaws.
  • Tyranny and The cleric defied House Halovar and the army of fiends they are aligned with.
  • Teor is marked for death by House Halovar.

This means them no alternative but to journey toward Timmony in pursuit of the antagonist.

What’s Next?

Based on the recent installment’s follow-up content, we find out that the Soldiers table will not appear the following episode, leaving the rest of the participants to assemble the Questers and Planners groups.

Audiences can anticipate discovering which players will be assigned to which table in Campaign 4’s final introductory chapter, released on next week.
